Originally incorporated in Malaysia in 2003 under the name RD Yachting Sdn Bhd and was primarily involved in the manufacture, distribution and installation of marine water making equipment.

In 2014 the company’s management was taken over by the ILB Group Limited - Hong Kong and whilst continuing its activities in vessel maintenance and deliveries, a new division was formed to carry out restoration of small to medium sized yachts.
In the following two years the company completed eight total vessel restoration projects.

Due to a significant skill shortage in Northern Malaysia in 2017 it was decided to curtail the restoration business and investigate new business opportunities in the region.
In September 2018, whilst still under the management of ILB Group Limited - Hong Kong and with new partners on the board of Directors, the company was restructured, changing its name to “Latitude 6 Marine Sales and Services Sdn Bhd” and moving its primary focuses to Yacht Brokering, Marine Vessel Services, Insurance and Vessel Transit Services.
